Privacy Policy

This site is my personal portfolio and blog. This page explains what information I collect, why I collect it, and what I do with it.

I keep this deliberately simple: there is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking cookies on this site.

Who I am

This site is operated by Kavindu Rashmika. For any question about privacy, email contact@kavindur.com.

What I collect

Contact form. When you submit the contact form, I receive the name, email address and message you enter. I use these only to read and reply to what you sent.

Newsletter. When you subscribe, I store your email address so I can send you updates about my work and projects. I do not ask for anything else.

Server logs. My hosting provider automatically records standard technical information for every request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

That is the full list. There is no account system, and I never ask for payment details.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

The only thing kept in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, stored in local storage so the site remembers your choice. It holds no personal information and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a third party, so viewing a page does not send a request to an external font provider.

Services I use

• Resend delivers email sent from the contact form and stores newsletter subscriber addresses.
• Vercel hosts this site and processes the server logs described above.

These providers process data on my behalf. I do not sell, rent or trade your information, and I do not share it with anyone else.

How long I keep it

Contact form messages stay in my email inbox for as long as they are useful to me. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask me to delete either at any time.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, which removes your address from the list.
• Access, correction or deletion. Email me and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles data changes, I will update this page and revise the date shown at the top.
